I have found the Vistas to be a great place for my mom as it has excellent and responsive staff, lots of daily activities, beautiful and affordable rooms, and they go all out for their residents. I highly recommend the vistas to anyone looking to place their loved ones in a comfortable and nurturing environment.

For the past six months, I have been concerned about a possible move for my father to assisted living. He has beginning Alzheimer’s and did need more care, but he liked the independent living where he was. I was so concerned that I would be moving him away from friends and it would be harder for him to make new ones. He is not ready for an Alzheimer’s unit, but needed the safety and care of an assisted living situation.

The care that he is receiving at the Vistas is exemplary. He feels so much more secure. Any time that he does need extra help, everyone at the Vistas steps forward to help him find his apartment, encourage him to participate in activities, administer his meds…, while still reassuring him that he has freedom to walk his dog when he wants…the list goes on and on. He loves the food and doesn’t even want to leave for a meal at my home. He is making new friends and thinks the nurses are so good at helping him. They even make his bed if he doesn’t. All we can say to anyone we talk to is: The Vistas is a VERY special caring place to live.
